Your attitude and extensive knowledge of the peninsula, Cape Town and South Africa in general was a big surprise and a most enjoyable one. It exceeded our expectations.
As you mentioned, you are originally from Jerusalem, going back 9 generations, and now a Capetonian who previously lived in Johannesburg for many years. You knew exactly what we were looking for, what our interests were as tourists from Israel.
You knew how to explain and to guide on a personal level with love and endless charm. You gave us a feeling that we were your close friends! We really enjoyed our experience and were so disappointed when the tour ended. We wished it could have continued.

We had an amazing experience with Dafna as our tour guide, not only is her knowledge of the area and history amazing, but she gives it over with such warmth and charisma.... touring with Dafna is like meeting and old friend, even if you haven't seen each other in a long time you warm up to each other so quickly and feel like you've known each other your whole life! היה לנו ניסיון מדהים עם דפנה מדריכת הטיולים הפרטית שלנו, לא רק הידע שהפגינה בנוסף לקסם שלה, לטייל עם דפנה זה ממש כמו טיול עם חבר ותיק למרות שלא התאראיתם המון שנים אתם "מתחממים" במהלך הטיול וההרגשה שאתם מכירים שנים. המקומות הקסומים וההסטוריה שסופרה ע"י דפנה, נתנו למקום ערך מוסף, לא סתם עוד אתר תיירות. דפנה מדהימה בשמחת החיים שלה ובאישיותה הכובשת! היא דאגה לכל צריכנו ולא השאירה אבן לא הפוכה ובזמן המועט שהיה לנו נתנה לנו את מירב המידע והשאירה טעם של עוד. אנו ממליצים בחום לכל מי שחושב לטייל באזור.

I spent several weeks with Dafna in and around Cape Town. You could say that Dafna "made" my trip. She understood my head and knew exactly where to take me, among other things to charming places hidden gems unknown to the standard tourist. Every day with her was a thrilling and experiential day that suited my character and my desires even if I did not always know exactly what I wanted from them.
Her amazing knowledge of every place enriched and fascinated me.
Beyond all, passion and love for the place as well as her walks and sense of humor were contagious and made the whole experience memorable.

טייליתי עם דפנה מספר שבועות בקייפטאון, פרבריה ונתיב היין. אפשר לומר שדפנה ״עשתה״ לי את הטיול. היא הבינה את הראש שלי וידעה בדיוק לאיזה מקומות לקחת אותי, בין היתר למקומות מקסימים שנחבאים מעין התייר הסטנדרטי. כל יום איתה היה יום חוויתי ומרתק שהיה מותאם לאופיי ולרצונותיי גם אם לא תמיד ידעתי בדיוק מהם.
הידע המדהים שלה על כל מקום מעשיר ומרתק.
מעבר להכל, התשוקה, האהבה למקום ולטיולים וחוש ההומור שלה היו מדבקים ועשו את כל החוויה.

I highly recommend Dafna as she is a very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable tour guide.
She is well organized and plans all the tours meticulously, making sure to adapt them to the needs of the group.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Hermanus, where we learned all about the history and life of that charming town and of course had the exciting experience of whale-watching.
On our return drive to Cape Town, we stopped at Vergelegen Estate, which was really fascinating and had the most beautiful gardens.
Dafna’s enthusiasm and her love of Cape Town and its surrounding areas make the tours lively and fun, as well as extremely interesting.
